German Climate Assembly

The Citizens' Assembly on Climate gathers 160 randomly selected citizens, representative of the whole of society, to discuss how Germany can meet its climate protection targets in a way that is fair to all.

In 2021, we cooperated with the Climate Assembly in Germany.

Democracy International supported this civil-society-led initiative with their international communication efforts, making sure that the information on the Climate Assembly reaches beyond national borders.
